Nex stepping stones and habitats

Four new hedge islands, each with ten different hedge plants, have been planted on our golf course on the left side of hole 9 between the fairway and the eco-area. The locations are about 50 metres from the forest and will become welcome stepping stones for wildlife and insects.

The composition of the plant assortment and their locations were carefully selected with our advisor Erwin Leupi. Erwin Leupi has accompanied us competently as an experienced ecologist and botanist and has done so since the beginning of the construction phase of the golf course.

A high trunk hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) was planted at the edge of the golf course in the extension of the playing line of hole 9. In future, the high trunk tree will show the golfer the playing direction at tee 9 and become a welcome place for bird and insect life.
