2.5 km long panoramic trail with magnificent views

Sport and local recreation on the outskirts of Lucerne

The Meggen golf course is part of a public recreational area that has been created in the middle of an intact green belt bordering the city of Lucerne. The gem, which has been created in a beautiful panoramic location, allows for sport and local recreation in equal measure. Since 2021, elf panels with insect nesting boxes have been newly created.

Use of the footpaths
Since the opening of the Meggen Golf Course, hikers, walkers and dog owners have been enjoying the 2.5 km long circular path with its fantastic views of the city of Lucerne, Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Many thanks to all visitors and hikers who considerately use the official footpaths. Enjoy your walks on these beautiful grounds with their fantastic views!

Dogs on a leash please
We kindly ask dog owners to keep their dogs on a leash and not to let them run across the golf meadows. Thank you very much.
