Sport runs like a thread through the whole life of Fredy Mächler - owner of Fredy Mächler Golftours. He started with football, then played tennis and has been passionate about golf for at least 30 years. Since 1972, Fredy Mächler has worked for Völkl Ski and Tennis throughout Switzerland. At the end of the 80s, Völkl launched a new product and introduced golf clubs to the market.

"Golf fever gripped us all at that time and many athletes and sports retailers discovered this wonderful sport with Völkl golf clubs. I have thus always been able to combine my hobbies with my profession. For 14 years, I have been representing the Bad Griesbach golf resort in Switzerland and organise several golf weeks there every year; since retirement, more select trips have been added on an ongoing basis."

Since 2019, there has been a successful partnership between Bad Griesbach and the facility in Meggen. Competent pros from Bad Griesbach teach on our beautiful course in Meggen.
