The St. Niklaus Society is an integral part of Meggen's customs.
They organise visits by St. Nicholas to families' living rooms in Meggen, as well as visits to retirement homes, kindergartens, the Christmas market in Meggen and even to us.
St. Nicholas visits around 100 families and other people
To ensure he can bring a bag of treats to everyone, he relies on the helping hands of interested boys and men. Whether as pupils from the 2nd grade onwards who accompany St. Nicholas as servants, as pupils from the 6th grade onwards who show St. Nicholas the way to the families as Trychler or Geislechlöpfer, or even as enthusiastic men: there are still a few other jobs where St. Nicholas would be delighted to have some help!
