Illuminated walk

with views of the city of Lucerne

From 5 to 20 December 2025 (Wednesday to Saturday evening), 40 lanterns will light up the Panoramaweg trail. The walk starts at the car park, just a few steps from the slightly elevated Badhof inn, leads to the viewpoint overlooking the city of Lucerne and returns to the Gasthaus Badhof.

During this period, you can also purchase our package of 1x white mulled wine + 1x torch for CHF 9.50.

Winter Experience Aperitif

– a feast for all the senses

Amidst a unique Christmas atmosphere, from 20 persons or more we serve you a creamy sun-dried tomato and mascarpone risotto or mushroom risotto for your aperitif, scooped directly from the Sbrienz loaf.

Enjoy white mulled wine, mineral water and orange juice with your meal. CHF 19.50 per person.

In dry weather, we serve the aperitif on our terrace, surrounded by lots of lights and burning fire elements.

Elf search fun

Our scavenger hunt for letters – outside around the Badhof guesthouse.

The search forms can be found in the poster holder on the wall at reception, and then the search can begin!

For every solution word, a sweet surprise awaits the little elf explorers at our reception.

Elf colouring competition

for our young artists

Get your coloured pencils ready!
For our little restaurant guests, there are elf colouring pictures available in the restaurant that can be entered into the competition. The prize is a delicious Gasthaus Badhof ice cream sundae.

The artwork will decorate our reception area and the winners will be notified in writing in January.

The restaurant will be open until 21st December 2025 and the office until Wednesday, 1st January, before closing for the winter break until 20th January 2026.
