In March 2022, we started the construction of the herb garden and its surroundings. Gärtnerei Brunner and its team carried out the work, and we at Golf Meggen and Gasthaus Badhof are responsible for the care and maintenance.
Already in June, it blossomed wonderfully and delighted the hearts of many walkers.
The herbs for the kitchen are in the raised beds. In addition, there are many insect-friendly plants all around, such as coneflower, catmint, cranesbill and so on, which flower at different times of the year and are a colourful delight. The path is accessible to all and the culinary herbs are labelled.
We are very pleased to be able to offer another oasis, in keeping with our motto: "Recharge your batteries". The fact that we can grow and have our own herbs was also very close to our hearts. Because of the proximity, freshness and care are guaranteed and the dishes become real feasts for the eyes thanks to the tasty splashes of colour.
