Birds of prey and owls need to conserve energy, especially in winter, and are therefore more dependent on suitable perches.
Perches make hunting easier, especially for small mammals.
Our greenkeeping team has installed five additional perches to complement the existing ones. Our golf course now has around 20 perches for birds of prey. We are delighted that the birds are helping to regulate the mouse population naturally.
