Meggenhorn Castle

Meggenhorn Castle is a place for lingering, culture and encounters and offers many opportunities for experience. Surrounded by a secluded park, it is located on a promontory above the Lake Lucerne basin.

Please note that the Meggenhorn playground will be closed from Monday, 24 October 2022 until spring 2023 for extension work. However, the walk is worthwhile in any case.

Corporate events, weddings, civil weddings, family celebrations, graduation ceremonies and conferences with banquets take place all year round in the atmospheric rooms and on the castle terrace. Every Sunday afternoon from April to October, the living quarters of the former owner family can be visited and the castle bistro in the orangery invites you to linger from the end of April. Also worthy of mention are our varied cultural programme, the many walks in the park and the secluded bathing bays by the lake.
